George Visger is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on September 26, 1958 in Stockton, United States. In the 1981 year, Visger underwent his first knee surgery. After a few weeks Visger was diagnosed with hydrocephalus following concussions, and was treated with an emergency VP brain surgery via shunt. After four months of they won their Super Bowl XVI victory, Visger had two more brain surgeries, each lasting 10 hours and was then buried with final rituals. The following year, the player had to undergo two knee surgeries including an experimental Gore-Tex ACL transplant in order to heal the injury he sustained in the 1981 season.

Visger has become a well-known expert on traumatic brain injuries (TBI). In 2010, he founded The Visger Group, a TBI consulting organization with the goal of raising the awareness of TBI in a variety of venues, including football, injured military veterans, and pediatric groups. He has presented at numerous brain injury recovery conferences throughout the country and coordinates with hospital TBI recovery programs, the California School Nurses Organization, and the Wells Fargo Play It Safe Concussion Care Program.
